2. Description of Service

DeckOS is an AI-powered presentation platform that helps you create professional presentations from your brand guidelines and custom prompts. Our service includes deck generation, editing, export capabilities, and design system management.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of DeckOS, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Plan Tiers

DeckOS offers multiple subscription tiers: Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise. Plan limits and features are subject to change with notice.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your choice
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your settings
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period

5. Usage Limits

Your subscription plan includes specific usage limits:

• Free: 3 decks per month, 10 slides per deck
• Pro: Unlimited decks, 20 slides per deck
• Team: Unlimited decks, 30 slides per deck
• Enterprise: Custom limits

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the service or exceed reasonable usage limits.

6. Content Ownership and License

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you create using DeckOS. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for providing the service.

DeckOS Platform

All rights, title, and interest in DeckOS (including software, features, and trademarks) remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service for spam or harassment
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission
• Create content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

8. AI-Generated Content

DeckOS uses AI (powered by Anthropic) to generate presentation content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use. We are not liable for any consequences arising from use of AI-generated content.

9. Data Backup and Loss

While we maintain regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content. We are not liable for any data loss, though we will make reasonable efforts to prevent it.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend service for maintenance, upgrades, or emergencies. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

11. Third-Party Services

DeckOS integrates with third-party services (Figma, Stripe, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or policies.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Abuse the service or harm other users

You may terminate your account at any time from your settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

DECKOS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DECKOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DeckOS harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
